Attitudes. Awareness and respect for cultural heritage, to recognize and develop skills and techniques of various creative nature in relation to artistic proposals.
Graduated profile:
The Bachelor of Arts will be training very particularly for research and labor work. From the professionalization that the program offers, he/she will show the following characteristics:
- Will be a creative and innovative professional;
Will have the ability to communicate, through the specific artistic practice of their training;
Will be a producer of artistic-cultural goods that synthesize theory and practice in the area of the arts of their choice;
Will make adequate use of the tools and materials particular to the chosen arts;
Will possess a great integral sensitive-intellectual development;
Possess a strong link with their social environment, being able to reflect on it, interpreting and transforming it artistically and aesthetically;
Will generate his own plastic discourse, from the mastery and use of the theories and techniques of the visual arts, to promote its development and recognition at national and international level;
Disseminate the visual arts in the community, through the elaboration and participation in programs and projects to promote the development of the different disciplines and increase social participation in artistic programs;
Apply the basic knowledge of research in interdisciplinary projects to document and consolidate the practice of the visual arts;
Form, train and update human resources in the field of the arts, or through creative educational strategies to form quality professionals with academic excellence;
- Teach visual arts at different educational levels, as well as in spaces that promote artistic creation;
Make critical and informed judgments in the field of visual arts, in order to enrich the cultural development of groups or individuals dedicated to artistic creation, as well as the interpretation of the artistic fact;
- Apply the knowledge acquired from the new pedagogical conditions, as well as the technological advances that are manifested in the visual arts;
Will possess competencies for the exercise of criticism and analysis of the most varied artistic manifestations, as well as of the new lines of discussion in art and contemporary criticism;
Will have the ability to influence the different manifestations of the artistic phenomenon in general, and to participate in the university artistic and cultural development of the region.
