Applicant profile:
The candidate to study the degree of surgeon and midwife should preferably have:
a.- Interests: Humanities, scientists, academics, authentic service vocation and concern for the welfare of the population;
b.- Affinity for the biological, chemical, physical and mathematical areas ;
c.- Attitudes: initiative, proactive, assertive, emotional stability, sensitivity to understand human behavior, discipline, self-management and permanent overcoming;
d.- Respect for ethical and moral values;
e.- Interest in research
f. Good study habits;
g. Ability to reason and make decisions;
h. Correct management of interpersonal relationships;
i. Ability to work as part of a team.
Graduate profile:
College applicants who take the Prueba de Aptitud Académica (PAA) del College Board, will be assessed in four key areas of cognitive development: verbal reasoning and critical reading; logical-mathematical reasoning; Spanish writing; and a Test of Academic Achievement in English as a Second Language, designed to measure the level of language proficiency, reading comprehension, and writing skills of students whose native language is Spanish.
This is not a knowledge test. It is a test that measures what the student is able to do with the knowledge acquired in his or her years of study. For this reason, we classify it as an aptitude or cognitive skills test.
The Prueba de Aptitud Académica (PAA) evaluates the student's academic potential to pursue university studies. This test has the following components (in addition to the foreign language):
