In accordance with the Reglamento General de Evaluación and Promoción de Alumnos of the Universidad de Guadalajara, it establishes the following:

 

Exams

Article 14. One of the means of evaluation are exams, which allow us to know the degree of mastery that the student has obtained on the subject.

Article 15. During the development of the subject and at its end, the following types of exams may be applied as evaluation instruments, by determination of the Academy:

I. The partial exams are applied to verify in certain periods of the development of the subject the progress of the learning obtained by the students, according to the objectives indicated in the study program.

II. The global exam considers the content of the subject in its entirety and with it the learning achieved by students throughout the educational process is verified.

In no case can the result obtained in this type of exam be considered individually as 100% of the final grade for the course, except for the exam regulated by Chapter VIII of these regulations.

 

Departmental exam

Article 17. Departmental exams have the following objectives:

I. Know the degree of mastery that the student has obtained on the subject;

II. Verify the degree of progress of the subject program, in accordance with the provisions of article 21 of the Reglamento General de Planes de Estudio of the Universidad de Guadalajara;

III. Be applied as part of the institutional evaluation, and

IV. Know the degree of homogeneity in the learning achieved by students of the same subject, who received the course with different teachers.

Competency-based accreditation exam

Article 38. In order to have the right to take the competency accreditation examination, the student must meet the following requirements:

I. Be enrolled in the corresponding study plan;

II. To have made the application in the terms established in the procedures manual and within the deadlines established for such purpose in the school calendar, approved by the H. Consejo General Universitario;

III. Pay the corresponding fee

V.  Those determined by the Consejo Universitario del Centro or the Educación Media Superior.
