The university, government and society linking program is a project that joins efforts between the student community of the university center of the coast of the Universidad de Guadalajara (UdeG), and the Municipal Government through DIF system and the different programs it has, with the aim of benefiting the most vulnerable population in the Colonia Mojoneras and surrounding areas.

This program provides free basic services in psychology, legal advice, nutrition, general health and training courses that help people self-employ so that they can generate extra income for their family economy.

Create alliances between institutions (universities, government and society) that have management power and the capacity of human resources specialized in social management to implement and operate common welfare programs that allow improving the quality of life of the community and apply strategies with the aim to foster a sense of identity and belonging to the project.

 

General Objetive 

Create and consolidate an institution with legal, administrative and institutional certainty, that can meet the needs of the open population in Puerto Vallarta, implementing social welfare programs for families, generating links and interaction of common benefit between the government, various public and private institutions. with civil society.

Generate that university academics can work together with said population in terms of information, evaluation, research and professional intervention of the various needs and problems.

Particular objectives

1. Carry out professional research on the various social problems that arise in the population of Puerto Vallarta in order to understand them and intervene in their solution.

2. Carry out intervention work that provides certainty about the reality of the problems in which you wish to intervene.

3. Carry out interdisciplinary work that resolves specific situations that afflict the marginal population in Puerto Vallarta.

4. Carry out orientation and prevention work in the community of Puerto Vallarta in order to avoid increases in the rates of social problems that arise.

5. Carry out specialized professional training activities by area of ​​knowledge and interdisciplinary.

6. Prepare preventive guidance and prophylactic guidance materials by area of ​​knowledge (law, medicine, biology, psychology, etc.)

7. Seek that the material exercise is self-managed both economically and materially, involving both the actors directly affected and the benefactors of the projects.
