General Regulations for the Evaluation and Promotion of Students
Article 53. Students may justify their absence from class for any of the following reasons:
I. Due to illness (with proof of having gone to the IMSS, Healthcare);
II. II. Due to the fulfillment of a commission conferred by a university authority, with the knowledge of the Career Coordinator, as long as the work performed therein is closely related to university studies, and III.
III. Due to justified force majeure that prevents the student from attending, in the judgment of the Career Coordinator.
The maximum number of absences from class that a student may be excused shall not exceed 20% of the total number of hours established in the program of the subject.
Article 54. The student must justify the absence of attendance with the appropriate document, to the Career Coordinator at the University Centers, within five working days following the date on which he/she has been able to resume his/her studies
