Mission

The Unidad de Seguimiento a Egresados y Empleadores of the Centro Universitario de la Costa,  has the purpose of forming a culture of connection between the Universidad de Guadalajara and those students who were trained in its classrooms; Likewise, contribute to the suggestions that Employers send us, to achieve professional development through a close relationship of innovation, integrity, commitment and responsibility between university students and employers.

 

Vision

Generate a quality relationship and sense of belonging between the University and the graduates of the different PEs, seeking mutual benefits, between the University Students and the Employers, and also contribute to enriching the programs, through periodic evaluation of the professional performance of the graduates.

 

Objetives

  • Form and consolidate the relationship between different employers and CU graduates.

  • Know the criteria in job demand to strengthen the professionalism of the graduate.

  • The academic updating and permanent training of professionals capable of fulfilling their social responsibility.

  • Offer truthful and interesting information to our graduates.

 

Monitoring methodology

  • The follow-up we carry out with our graduates and employers is through the application of a survey via the internet.

  • The Unit maintains constant communication with employers via email and visits to their offices.

  • Activities carried out by the Unit

  • Preparation of surveys in collaboration with the Career Coordinators of the different PEs of CUCOSTA.

  • Application and analysis of the results of the surveys applied to the graduates of the different PEs of CUCOSTA.

  • Preparation and application of surveys to employers and analysis of the results with the Academic Secretary and the Coordinators of the different CUCOSTA Careers.

  • Support for holding events with graduates and employers according to the needs of the PEs.

  • Intermediary to process the Graduate Credential of the Universidad de Guadalajara.
