Exams

Article 14. One of the means of evaluation are the examinations, which allow to know the degree of mastery that the student has obtained on the subject.

 

Article 15. During the development of the course and at its end, the following types of examinations may be applied as evaluation instruments, as determined by the Academy:

I. The partial exams are applied to verify in certain periods of the development of the subject the progress of the learning obtained by the students, according to objectives indicated in the study program, and

II. The global exam considers in its totality the content of the subject and with it the learning achieved by the students during the whole educational process is verified.

In no case may the result obtained in this type of exam be considered individually as 100% of the final grade of the course, except for the exam regulated by Chapter VIII of these regulations.

Departamental Exam

Article 17. The departmental examinations have the following objectives:

I. To know the degree of mastery that the student has obtained on the subject;

II. To verify the degree of progress in the program of the subject, in accordance with the provisions of Article 21 of the General Regulations of Study Plans of the University of Guadalajara;

III. To be applied as part of the institutional evaluation; and

IV. To know the degree of homogeneity in the learning achieved by students of the same subject, who received the course with different professors.

Accreditation Examination

Article 38. In order to be entitled to take the competency accreditation examination, the student must meet the following requirements:

I. To be enrolled in the corresponding study plan;

II. To have made the request in the terms established in the procedures manual and within the terms established for such purpose in the school calendar, approved by the H. General University Council; II.

General University Council;

III. Pay the corresponding fee, and

IV. Those determined by the University Council of the Center or Higher Secondary Education.
