In order for the student to expand, apply and reinforce the knowledge acquired in the previous part of his career, the student of this degree must perform his professional practices from the completion of 70% of the credits.

According to the current ruling No. I/2012/308, in the TENTH resolution, it specifies the mandatory nature of the internships which are determined in the area of mandatory specialized training with 8 credits of value.

The Professional Practices are a training activity that allows the student the deployment of skills, attitudes, values, skills, and the application of knowledge that crosses transversely the subjects of the Educational Program, which are temporarily and compulsory for students.

The Professional Practices can be performed in institutions or companies, according to the list of agreements made with this university center. In the following link you can find this list.

Process for registering internships

The student must be attentive to the publication of the Call for Professional Practice. It is published every semester, for calendar A in the month of June and calendar B in the month of December.

Registration Requirements

Students who wish to begin their professional practices must:

I. Be a regular student of the Universidad de Guadalajara

II. Have no financial debts

III. Have fulfilled the minimum number of credits established in their study plan for the beginning of the professional practices.

IV. Submit the application for enrollment within the terms and conditions established in the call for applications.

V. Attend the induction course

VI. Demonstrate their affiliation to the social security system,(healthcare IMSS).

VII. The others established by the respective committees of professional practices.

Documents to be submitted to the Coordination Office of the Bachelor's Degree in Public Accountancy

Public ( (according to the dates indicated in the call for applications).

In order to carry out the Specialization or Professional Internship, the student must fill out an application form (Form to request internship assignments).

  • Child-size photograph
  • Internship application duly filled out by the company (Internship application form).
  • The coordination will deliver the assignment letter.

At the conclusion of the internship, the student, with the advice of his/her tutor, must

submit an internship report to the tutor for evaluation.
