SPECIFIC MODALITIES:

1.     Academic Excellence: This modality is the automatic obtaining of a minimum global average of 95 (ninety-five), passing a maximum of 10% (ten percent) of the subjects in the extraordinary period.

Evidence to be submitted: Certified Graduate Card (Kerdex)

 

2.     Graduation by Average: This modality allows the automatic obtaining of the degree for having obtained a minimum global average of 90 (ninety), accrediting all the subjects corresponding to a study plan during the ordinary examination periods.

MODALIDAD GENÉRICA: EXAMENES</p>

SPECIFIC MODALITIES:

1.     Global-Theoretical Exam (Diploma): In this modality, the intern undergoes an evaluation in relation to the specific curriculum of his/her academic training; the student must take an oral or written exam on general areas of knowledge, set of subjects or basic fundamentals of professional practice.

Evidence to be submitted: Diploma and certificate with overall passing grade, issued by the Coordinación de Posgrados y Diplomados

 

2.     General Professional Certification Exam: This exam is intended to identify the extent to which undergraduate students have the knowledge and skills for the practice of their profession, considering the general tests that accredit the score and the academic level of excellence of certification promoted and applied through the  Centro Nacional de Evaluación de la Educación Superior (CENEVAL)

Evidence to be submitted: Outstanding or Satisfactory Performance Testimonial and Individual Performance Report

 

 

 

SPECIFIC MODALITIES:

1.     Research seminar: It consists of works that, being elaborated individually or collectively, describe, characterize or contribute preferably to the solution of specific technical and social problems. In any case, it will be an original proposal that supports, theoretically and practically, a complete research work corresponding to the objects of study referred to in the academic programs of the Centro Universitario de la Costa, whose products may be the publication of an article in a refereed journal with Numero Internacional Normalizado de Publicaciones Seriadas (ISSN), the chapter of a book with editorial board and ISBN, or the presentation of two papers in international forums with extensive proceedings and ISBN.

Evidence to be submitted: Copy or printout of the front cover, back cover, legal page and table of contents, in addition to the book chapter with editorial board and ISBN or the article published in a peer-reviewed or indexed journal, of which the applicant has been author or co-author. In the case of having presented two papers, a complete printout of the proceedings in extenso with the ISBN and the year in which they were published is required.

 

2.     Degree Seminar: This modality consists of a series of meetings in which, during a brief period (three to six months), a general methodology and specific work techniques are established, allowing the intern to present documentary products, which are given the same value as a thesis.

 

MODALIDAD GENÉRICA: TESIS, TESINA E INFORMES</p>

Note: To opt for any of the following specific modalities, the student must request in writing to the Comité de Titulación de la Licenciatura en Administración of Centro Universitario de la Costa the approval of the modality, indicating the name of the thesis, dissertation or report, as well as the name of the advisor and, if required, of the suggested co-advisor. In case of requesting a thesis or dissertation, the application must be accompanied by the respective protocol in electronic format, PDF version, according to the guidelines established for it.

 

SPECIFIC MODALITIES:

 

1.     Thesis: It is an unpublished research work, which will aim to present new knowledge, methods and interpretations on any aspect of a given social reality (See the guidelines of the Protocol and the Thesis).

Evidence to be submitted: Thesis approved by the Comité de Titulación de la Licenciatura

 

2.     Undergraduete Dissertations: It is a monographic work that can be done by interns of bachelor's degree or professional education at a high school level, whose professions require a degree for their practice. The work must be written with a minimum length of 45 pages and a maximum of 60. (See the guidelines of the Protocol and the Thesis).

Evidence to be submitted: Dissertation approved by the Comité de Titulación de la Licenciatura

 

3.     Professional practices report: This is the document in which the intern states the problems he/she faced in relation to the social and material demands of his/her profession and the measures implemented to solve or attempt to solve them, while it represents an option to initiate diagnostic processes on the performance of its graduates in their professional work, as well as the adaptation and updating of the curriculum. In order to graduate through this option, the trainee must accredit at least two years of professional practice.

Evidence to be submitted: Professional Internship Report approved by the Comité de Titulación de la Licenciatura

 

4.     Social Service Report: This is the report that the service provider submits with the purpose of explaining what knowledge the student has acquired in his/her academic training and what new knowledge the student has assimilated, as well as his/her suggestions for the best performance of the work performed in the area of assignment. In this process, the results of the experience of both the service provider and the place where he/she performed his/her social service are collected (See the Social Service Report guidelines).

Evidence to be submitted: Social Service Report approved by the Undergraduate Degree Committee.
