Mission
Our Mission is to train highly qualified professionals in the field of management, promotion, planning and development of both services and existing or emerging tourism destinations, with a preparation according to modernization and competition, with an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit that promotes the principles of the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism in tourism companies, institutions and destinations that generate a positive impact on the socioeconomic, cultural and environmental surroundings.
Vision
Our Vision is to have an academic program for professionals with a humanistic formation, a high sense of social solidarity and an effective commitment to the sustainable development of the tourism field and from a planning approach. Likewise, they will be professionals who contribute to the development of tourism companies in the administrative, marketing and planning areas.
Objetives
To train highly qualified professionals in the field of management and development of tourism services and destinations, with a preparation according to the dynamics imposed by modernization and competition, with an entrepreneurial, ethical and innovative spirit to develop and promote tourism businesses and destinations that generate a positive impact on the socioeconomic and environmental surroundings.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
a) Contribute to the improvement of the quality of the substantive functions of teaching, research and dissemination of culture.
b) To integrate learning environments conducive to the integral formation of professionals useful to society;
c) To standardize the preparation of students at an international level.
d) To train graduates in the field of marketing and promotion of tourism, both nationally and internationally.
e) To generate quality and highly trained professionals in the field of tourism planning, capable of applying their knowledge in the public and/or private sector;
f) To develop in the student the knowledge and skills for the management and application of methods and techniques for decision making at the regional and business level; and;
g) To promote the development of professional capacities in the formation of the Graduates in Tourism, in such a way that it allows them, fast and efficient, their incorporation to the labor market.
