The Professional Internships of the Bachelor's Degree in Tourism are part of the subjects of the Compulsory Specializing Training Area based on the Tenth Resolution No. I/2012/305 mentioned below:

In order to expand, apply and reinforce the knowledge acquired in the previous part of his career; the student of this degree must perform his professional practices from the fulfillment of 50% of the credits. This formative process will be accompanied, guided and supported by the Coordination of the Teaching Program in collaboration with the Department related to the career. The guidelines for the professional practice will be determined by the Academic Secretary's Office.

The professional practice is considered in the curriculum, in a broad sense, so that research stays, professional application projects and professional practice in situ in the public, private and social sectors can be grouped, subject to the execution of agreements, as well as the existence of adequate academic support.

INTERNSHIP ASSIGNMENT PROCESS

Step 1. Review the list of agreements on the CUC website:

Step 2. Contact the company and request information using the “Internship Application” form.

Step 3. Fill out the “Internship Assignment Request” form with the required information and attach the documents specified at the end of the form. 

Step 4. Deliver the above documentation to the office of the A & B Laboratory (Building “C”) for the elaboration of the internship assignment.

Step 5. Read the documents titled “Manual de llenado de formatos” and “Acciones Procedimientos Prácticas”, where the process of practices, time of delivery of each format and how to fill them are explained.

Step 6. At the end of the internship, you must complete the applied research report - IMPROVEMENT PROPOSAL - of the area in which the internship was carried out (Document “Guidelines for the Final Report of the Internship”).

Step 7. Submit the applied research report - IMPROVEMENT PROPOSAL - directly to the internship tutor for approval (Vo.Bo.) and prior release of the number of internship hours being reported with the document.
