The Centro Universitario de la Costa of the University offers the Telematics Engineering Career (ITEL) updated with the ideal profile requested by companies in Information Technology. Besides being accredited by the National Council of Accreditation in Informatics and Computing (CONAIC) as a quality Educational Program.
What is Telematics?
Telematics is a discipline that combines the knowledge area of Networks and Telecommunications, Electronics and Computer Science.
The main objective of the Telematics Engineering Career is:
To train professionals with academic excellence in the design, implementation and administration of networks, services, applications and telecommunication systems with an ethical, integral approach to security and innovation, which allows them to perform adequately with a global vision and local commitment.
Specific Objectives
Implement and manage networks to ensure secure and responsible telecommunications.
Design architectures for embedded systems with the purpose of developing technologies.
Develop computer systems to optimize processes in order to add value.
Implement and manage distributed systems to integrate multiple resources with the purpose of impacting the availability and capacity of computing resources.
Manipulate electronic devices to generate data transmission to satisfy specific functions.
Emerging technologies such as Computer Forensics, Autonomous Devices (Drones), Domotics and Immotics and Virtual Reality, among others, are contemplated in the career.
You will be able to specialize in one of these areas: Network Security, Convergent Networks, Wireless Networks and Embedded Systems.
We have agreements with international companies such as CISCO, GOOGLE, Microsoft, among others.
The graduate of Telematics Engineering can take an exam to obtain an international certification with Cisco.
The career has its schedule in the morning from 7:00 to 3:00 in the afternoon, Monday through Friday and as part of its curriculum, has internships for incorporation into the workplace.
