The Law pursues interconnected purposes: justice, order, security, freedom and peace that, finally, materialize in serving the perfection and fulfillment of man in all his fullness and integrity.

Without order and security, a society could not exist and, therefore, it is said that the law is an indispensable instrument of human coexistence. But a non-fair order would be a serious moral disorder that would not accomplish the objectives the law and a security based on arbitrariness would be mere violence without justice.
